SS / Ti Wire Mesh

Woven wire mesh in plain, twill, plain Dutch, and twilled Dutch weave constructions, supplied as raw woven sheet or as five-layer sintered panels (the same base material used in sintered mesh filter elements). Available in stainless steel (302, 304, 304L, 304H, 316, 316L, 309, 310S) and titanium (Grade 1 or Grade 2; Grade 5 on request).

Mesh count 2–400 per inch; wire diameter 0.02–1.5 mm; aperture 0.003–11 mm. Plain and twill weave sheets cover general screening and protection from 10 to 400 mesh. Plain Dutch weave (MPW series) and twilled Dutch weave (MXW series) give a defined filtration precision in the warp direction, from 315 µm down to 3 µm, for process filtration and catalyst support. Sheets are supplied to customer-specified dimensions — standard roll widths up to 2000 mm (selvage edge) or 8000 mm (raw edge) for stainless steel, and up to 2000 mm for titanium, with cut-to-size blanks available.

Five-layer sintered panels are produced using the same sintering process as the filter element media — multiple woven layers are stacked and bonded by high-temperature sintering into a single rigid sheet that cannot delaminate under pressure or temperature cycling. These panels are suitable as filter media blanks for disc and flat filter applications.

Woven titanium mesh is also supplied as an electrode substrate for electrolysis and fuel cell applications, with platinum, iridium, ruthenium, or silver plating available for MMO (mixed metal oxide) coated electrodes.
